I have chosen to focus on hearts because I received many requests for
them at the beginning of my career as a glass artist,
and have come to enjoy the challenge and relish the experience of creating each perfect piece.
There are so many variations of perfection.
Each heart is uniquely perfect, just like each of the people who will enjoy wearing them.
Hearts are powerful symbols of love, courage, strength, and life.
They also seem to emphasize and encourage positive feelings.
I create each piece with the intention that the wearer will realize their innate uniqueness, feeling appreciated and beautiful.
Lindsey Manzo’s love for creating glass jewelry began with a three hour lesson in 2000, while attending college in Santa Cruz, Ca.
What began as a hobby has bloomed into a career as one of California’s Central Coast’s brightest young artists. Using hand selected fine Italian glass, a lot of skill and a little bit of patience, each piece is a reflection of the love Lindsey has for her work.
